Jackie created and ran the pandemic pack in an effort to support small local hospitality businesses. However, when the country was put into lockdown she had to think on her feet as to how she could support the local hospitality businesses that were struggling. Jackie sacrificed 3 nights of sleep and put together an e-cookbook in a weekend. That cookbook sold over 6000 copies, the proceeds was then given to various small hospitality operators. As restrictions eased she transformed this Pandemic Pack into a food delivery service. Helping to keep Wellington hospitality alive, Jackie refused profit for herself.

Jackie worked tirelessly every day through dark and uncertain times, she is an incredible human being and a true local hero for all the work she did to help struggling local businesses. Without Jackie, small hospitality businesses that we know and love may have not survived.
