Realistic Price

In simplistic terms property is not so different toany other commodity. Your decision as to what price guide (or message) you give the public can have a definite impact on 1/ the time your property is on the market and 2/ your eventual sales price.

A realistic price guide will drive enquiry, help create competition, encourage action.

Negotiation

negotiation

After trust, the next most important skill a salesperson must have is the ability to negotiate. This means being able to keep the lines of communication open until a sales result is achieved. Often sales are lost because a salesperson doesn’t have a level of skills which allow for an outcome when negotiations may become protracted or stalled.

The skill of the person that is representing your interests is paramount.

Confidentiality

confidentiality

Put simply, your reason for selling should be confidential. Disclosure of your personal situation will in some instances weaken your position in a negotiation.

Where most Real Estate salespeople will reveal your reason for sale without thinking, we think it is no-ones business but yours.

Agency Agreement

agreement

Most Real Estate companies will not release you from an agency agreement until it has expired even if the relationship is not working out. With Tommy’s Real Estate you should be given a dismissal guarantee, where if we haven’t met our obligations or promises, you are entitled to show us the door.

Ensure you have an agency agreement that is not too long and with the ability to cancel if the salesperson does not deliiver on the promised level of service.

Experience

exprience

Experience is fine, however just because you have driven a car for 20 years it doesn't make you a good driver! And it's the same in Real Estate.

At Tommy's its all about drive, energy, enthusiasm and innovation, not just time on the job!
