Profile
Pierre is one of Tommy’s and Wellington’s most experienced salespersons with over 21 years’ real estate involvement in Wellington’s central city residential market. Originally based in Brooklyn in a family business Pierre has become a key member of the Tommy’s team since joining the firm as one of its foundation agents. An experienced project manager he has been involved personally in new home construction and latterly in particular in an advisory and selling role in some of Wellington’s major residential projects.
When it comes to new homes, he is adept at advising his clients, guiding them through the purchasing process and assisting them in making good buying decisions. He is equally at home with older properties and takes pride in seeing home buyers from previous years enjoying good capital gains on the back of his experience and advice. Pierre is an accomplished negotiator with vision to create a successful sale and purchase agreement and an ability to think outside the square.
A Wellingtonian since birth Pierre knows the Wellington market better than most. His specialist area is Brooklyn where he has lived and worked for many years but he is also equally at home with the listing and selling of large volumes of property in his entire area of operation from Khandallah in the north to Seatoun and Island Bay in the south.
Pierre's Personal Statement
"Selling property is not only about houses, it's about personalities - identifying where people are coming from - you've got to be able to read the buyers. A lot of deals are tough but you need to see an angle to make it happen - bring parties together. I'm very focused and work to a "no stress" policy. It's a matter of controlling the deals, slow them down of necessary - simplify things. You need to be able to see clearly. For me, the offer is when the real work starts."

“Pierre Limn recently handled the sale of a property my wife and I owned in Wellington. Pierre showed professionalism and skill in the way he went about setting up the sale process and kept us well informed on progress once the property went on the market. The property was advertised on a Saturday and on the Tuesday following, Pierre was able to present us with an unconditional offer well in excess of our most optimistic expectations. Needless to say we were delighted with the outcome of the sale and it was achieved largely through the efforts of Pierre.
We wish to record our appreciation of Pierre’s competence which led to a speedy and most successful sale of the property.”

“Just a quick note to thank you very much for your role in brokering our recent purchase.
I appreciated your willingness to show several groups of us through the property on a number of different occasions even before we committed to making an offer.
During the negotiation phase I was grateful for your tolerance of the time it took us to consult with our trustees, the way you were able to bring to fruition the final offer and in particular the absence of hard sell techniques, which I dislike intensely.
It has been a pleasure doing business with you.”

“Over the past 24 months, Pierre Limn has been involved in the listing and selling of three properties for us. One property was a rental apartment in Wellington. Pierre not only liaised completely with our tenant for access but, considering the number of apartments on the market at the time, managed to present an acceptable contract to us within the timeframe required.
For each of our properties while on the market, Pierre always kept us regularly informed and updated. Pierre has always acted in a professional manner, is sincere and knowledgeable of the industry.
Were they required, we would not hesitate to use Pierre’s services again.”
