Most of Richard’s life he has been a professional salesperson. Leaving school at 17 his first job as an apprentice motor mechanic. He became qualified as a trade certified mechanic and at the age of 22 years old he was the youngest car salesperson employed by Cable Price Toyota in the Wellington City. After 16 successful years selling cars followed by a few years in management, Richard started his career in Real Estate in 2002. With a good work ethic and a low stress approach to sales Richard has acquired a loyal network of friends and clients who would be more than happy to recommend his services.
Among Richard’s many personal interests he enjoys music, cars and physical sports. He is proud to say in his younger years to represent New Zealand in Tae Kwon Do. At 28years of age a friend introduced Richard to the Territorial Armed Forces. He had no real interest in guns but he enjoyed the idea of volunteering his spare time to serving his country and discovered he had above-average people skills.
These skills were rewarded and he quickly raced through the ranks to become a Section Commander of an infantry section. These days’ injuries slow him down but he still loves mental challenges.
