Woburn

Generally regarded as Lower Hutt’s most desirable suburb, Woburn has tree-lined streets, large character houses and beautiful gardens. There are several embassy residences in the area, including the American Ambassador’s residence (on the historic Riddiford Estate); it’s also the site of Vogel House (intermittently used as our official Prime Minister’s residence, although at present). Woburn is a great area for walking, and gazing at some of the finest houses in the region.
